LAND O'LAKES - Two people were in critical condition Sunday after an early morning accident on Interstate 75. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Tihomir Pozderac, 8625 Wagon Trail, Port Richey, was traveling north in the southbound lanes of the interstate near State Road 56 about 4:45 a.m. The front of his 1995 Chevrolet struck the front of 1996 Dodge traveling south. After the collision, both cars burst into flames, the FHP said. Pozderac and the other driver, whose name was not released, were both taken by helicopter to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition. A hospital spokeswoman said Pozderac was still in critical condition Sunday night.
