Here's a look at new businesses in the area:

PHARMACY AND MORE: They seem to be popping up everywhere. Walgreens opened at 13229 Boyette Road on Aug. 7. The new store has all of the usual departments, including photo, pharmacy, beauty and more. Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. 689-7339.

PILES OF PRETZELS: The Westfield Shoppingtown Brandon is the newest home of Auntie Anne's. The business famous for soft, hand-rolled pretzels opened recently at 401 Brandon Town Center Drive and makes pretzels, sauces and lemonade fresh daily. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. 654-4514.

HARDWARE HEAVEN: ACE Hardware opened earlier this month at 10415 S County Road 39. The store offers a variety of hardware supplies and items such as grills, trash cans, buckets and more. Hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday. 737-9223.
