FSU Game balls

By Times Staff Writer
Published September 28, 2003

A.J. Nicholson, FSU linebacker

In his first start, the North Carolina native recovered two fumbles, returning one for a 3-yard touchdown.

Kevin Emanuel, FSU defensive end

Emanuel forced the two fumbles Nicholson recovered, both of which led to FSU touchdowns.

Donnie Carter, FSU tight end

Breaking the stereotype that the position merely blocks, Carter had two catches for 57 yards, including his first career touchdown.
