Once again, four names will be drawn, but only one will represent the Krewe of Columbus as the 45th Queen Isabella.
Four young women. One crown. Who will be the 45th Queen Isabella to represent the Krewe of Columbus? The selection is pure chance at the Saturday gala at the Tampa Convention Center. Former City Council member Bob Buckhorn will draw the names from a crystal bowl, as he has for a decade. The first three names drawn will be princesses. The last name plucked is the queen.
Dinner and dancing follow the coronation ceremony.
