Re: County woos support for gas tax increase, story, Sept. 27.
It seems to me Pinellas County is living in a shell. Have they not heard that the U.S. government is talking about raising the federal gas tax 5 cents a gallon? Does it make sense to force the residents of the county to go to Hillsborough County? As a retired person, and for a savings of $2 or more per fill-up, I would.
