TAMPA - A Brooksville woman died Sunday morning when her truck hit a ditch, crushing its cab.
The accident occurred about 5:45 a.m. as Brenda Hughson Cannon, 45, traveled north on Harney Road just north of Sligh Avenue. As the road curved, her 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe continued straight into a ditch, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
Cannon died at the scene.
