RECAP: The Bucs ignited the sellout crowd on the first play of their second possession. On first down from the Bucs 26, Brad Johnson looked off several receivers, scrambled and found Keenan McCardell behind linebacker Rob Morris. McCardell caught Johnson's bomb at the Colts 30 and ran untouched for the 74-yard touchdown. McCardell scored again on a bizarre interception-turned-fumble-turned-touchdown, giving the Bucs a 14-0 lead with 4:55 left.

KEY PLAY: Johnson's worst pass resulted in a strange Bucs touchdown. Johnson badly overthrew tight end Ken Dilger and was intercepted by safety Mike Doss. But during the return, center John Wade knocked the ball out of his hands. McCardell scooped up the ball in full stride and returned it 57 yards for the score.

STATS: Rushing yards - Bucs 11, Colts 12; Passing yards - Bucs 114, Colts 36; Total yards - Bucs 125, Colts 48; Turnovers - Bucs 1, Colts 1; Sacks - Bucs 0, Colts 0; Time of possession - Bucs 7:06, Colts 7:54.

DID YOU NOTICE: The Bucs had 12 men on the field on Indianapolis' second punt. But the 5-yard penalty wasn't enough for a first down, and it punted again. ... An 8-yard gain by Michael Pittman was wiped out by a holding penalty against Todd Yoder. ... Peyton Manning, who threw six touchdowns last week against the Saints, found himself under heavy pressure and was 6-of-8 for 36 yards. ... The Colts converted 0 of 3 third downs.
