RECAP: The Bucs had their first sustained drive, 71 yards in 11 plays to take a 21-0 lead. The longest play was a 25-yard pass to Keyshawn Johnson. Michael Pittman gained 20 on two carries, and a 10-yard pass to Ken Dilger gave the Bucs first and goal at the 3. Three plays later, Johnson hit Reggie Barlow for the score. The Colts were held to two possessions and 38 yards.

KEY PLAY: On the first play, first down from the Bucs 40, Brad Johnson threw 25 yards to Keyshawn Johnson across the middle to the Indianapolis 35. Johnson finished the half with three catches for 48 yards.

STATS: Rushing yards - Bucs 39, Colts 8; Passing yards - Bucs 75, Colts 30; Total yards - Bucs 114, Colts 38; Turnovers - Bucs 0, Colts 0; Sacks - Bucs 0, Colts 0; Time of possession - Bucs 10:22, Colts 4:38.

DID YOU NOTICE: With 1:30 left, Tom Tupa's 51-yard punt died at the Colts 1. The Colts were held to one first down, setting up a 60-yard field goal by Martin Gramatica that fell short as the half expired. ... Warren Sapp and Anthony McFarland lined up on the offensive line for three plays from the Colts 3. ... The Bucs had been stopped on their second possession, but defensive holding on the punt gave Tampa Bay a first down at the 20. The Bucs were stopped again three plays later, but offsides gave the Bucs another first down at their 31. They were stopped again three plays after that, but the Colts were called for illegal hands to the face. And the Bucs had their third consecutive first down via penalty.
