Letters

A welcome return

By Letter to the editor
Published October 8, 2003

It was a pleasure to see Don Addis back on your Letters page last week. He'd been away for so long that I was afraid he might have offended one too many thin-skinned Republicans, although periodic notices that he would be returning allayed those fears somewhat.

So if his absence was merely due to a vacation, he certainly earned it: I doubt if there are many cartoonists doing insightful cartoons almost every day of the week as he does. Welcome back!
