BABY CARE: Colic Rescue has a noble mission: help new moms survive the first few months of motherhood. Mothers learn physical therapy techniques to calm their colicky babies. Educators make house calls Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Call 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to make an appointment. 681-4991.

EYE, EAR FOOD: Borders Books & Music is opening Nov. 15 in the Brandon Crossings shopping center on Providence Road. Hours are in the making. Toll-free 1-800-644-773.

HOME DECOR: Classic Imports Co. has opened at 168 N Parsons Ave. The store specializes in a variety of rare and unique furniture, home accents and gifts. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. 681-8180.

JAPANESE JOY: Sushi Ninja opened at 887 E Bloomingdale Ave. in June. The restaurant offers a wide variety of sushi and authentic Japanese dishes. Prices range from $7 to $20. Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 4:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday. 662-3377.
