TRAFFIC CALMING: A public meeting is scheduled to discuss traffic problems along Lloyd Drive, from Pickford to Nazimova avenues, at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Ruskin Elementary School cafeteria, 101 E College Ave.
Comments at the meeting will be used to make recommendations to county commissioners on solving this problem. Speed humps are a possible solution.
COMMUNITY PLAN: A public meeting is scheduled to discuss the Apollo Beach Community Plan at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Apollo Beach Yacht Club, 6505 Surfside Blvd.
The meeting will explain the planning process, identify community issues and seek volunteers.
County staff will be at both meetings to answer questions.
