TODAY

6:45-8 p.m. Eric Darius

8:30-11 p.m. Saxophonist Kim Waters (From the Heart), guitarist Chuck Loeb (eBop) with saxophonist Jeff Kashiwa (Simple Truth) in a "smooth jazz superjam."

FRIDAY

6:15-7:30 p.m. Michael Ross Quartet, Tampa Bay's premier small jazz combo

8-9:15 p.m. Largo featuring composer and trumpeter Gast Waltzing. Fusion of contemporary jazz and electronic music influenced by artists from Bach to Ellington and beyond.

9:45-11 p.m. Paquito D'Rivera's Brazilian Dreams featuring the Grammy-winning vocal group New York Voices. D'Rivera, the Cuban-born (now New York-based) saxophonist, is known for Latin jazz and classical compositions and has performed with various jazz ensembles and as a soloist with symphony orchestras around the world. He won a Grammy in 1997 for his album Portraits of Cuba.

3:30-4:45 p.m. Vibraphonist Matthias Lupri (Window Up Window Down, Same Time Twice)

5:15-6:30 p.m. Organ trio Organissimo (Waiting for the Boogaloo Sisters)

7-8:15 p.m. Blues pianist Jon Cleary (Jon Cleary and the Absolute Monster Gentlemen)

9-10:30 p.m. Vocalist Lizz Wright. The 23-year-old Georgia native has been compared to Oleta Adams and Jill Scott with her R&B-and-gospel-flavored jazz vocal style. Her solo debut, Salt, was released this year on Verve.

SUNDAY

1-2 p.m. Ruth Eckerd Hall/Clearwater Jazz Holiday Youth Band

2:30-3:45 p.m. Vocalist Kristin Lomholt

4:15-5:30 p.m. Guitarist Denny Jiosa (Inner Voices, Among Friends)

6-7:15 p.m. Pianist David Hazeltine featuring tenor saxophonist Eric Alexander. The two "post-bop" performers collaborated on a critically acclaimed 2002 release, The Classic Trio Meets Eric Alexander.

8-9:15 p.m. Herbie Hancock Trio (see accompanying story)
