PALM HARBOR - The Florida Highway Patrol Friday identified a motorcyclist killed Thursday evening on U.S. 19 as Kristopher G. Arocho of 3701 Beechwood Drive, Holiday.
Arocho, 25, died when his Suzuki rammed the back of a two-door Ford just north of Alderman Road around 7 p.m.
The driver of the Ford, 64-year-old Anna Marie Palmer of Palm Harbor, was taken to Mease Countryside Hospital with minor injuries and released. Palmer was heading south on U.S. 19, after making a U-turn, when the accident occurred.
Arocho, who was traveling south in the center lane, ran into the rear of her car. Trooper Tyrone Crim said Thursday Arocho may have been speeding. The crash is under investigation.
