Jacobs was the national fixed assets manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Tampa; Klauzowski was a senior tax manager for Grant Thornton LLP, Tampa; Jones was a supervisor for Kerkering, Barberio & Co, Sarasota; DeMarino was an assurance manager for Grant Thornton LLP, Tampa; and Borkovic was a senior certified service representative for M. Milic Insurance Agency, St. Petersburg.

FKQ Advertising & Marketing, Clearwater, announced these appointments: Gerald Schuster, media billing specialist; and Trina Giddens, media reconciliation specialist. Schuster was a personal trainer at Edward White Hospital & Fitness Center, St. Petersburg; Giddens was an administrative assistant for ECI Telecom, Clearwater.

ARCHITECTURE

Natalie Davis has been promoted to vice president of interior design and was elected a shareholder for Wedding, Stephenson & Ibarguen Architects Inc., St. Petersburg. Davis was director of interior design.

ENVIRONMENTAL

Biological Research Associates, Tampa, announced these appointments: Kym Rouse Campbell, senior ecologist; and Allen Burdett, senior restoration ecologist. Rouse Campbell was an associate ecologist for the Cadmus Group, Maryville, Tenn.; Burdett was the environmental restoration manager for the southwest district of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

LEGAL

William Reece Smith Jr. recently celebrated his 50th anniversary at the law firm of Carlton Fields, Tampa. Smith serves as chairman emeritus and "of counsel" to Carlton Fields.

NONPROFIT

Mary Jo Monahan has been elected president and chief executive of Family Service Centers Inc., Clearwater. Monahan, who will assume her new position by February, was vice president of resource development.

ORGANIZATIONS

Deborah Stambaugh has been named business development director for the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg. Stambaugh was president and chief executive of the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce, St. Pete Beach.

Glenn Calderon has been named plant manager for Eastern Ribbon & Roll Corp., Clearwater. Calderon was vice president/southeast division for Convergent Label Technology, Tampa.

RECRUITMENT

Greg Brewer has been named managing director of Spherion Corp., Tampa. Brewer was vice president of sales at AccuData America, Fort Myers.

TECHNOLOGY

Don LaNeve has been named chief operating officer for Audio Visual Innovations Inc., Tampa. LaNeve was vice president/technical development for AutoTote, Newark, Del.
