TAMPA - Jesuit first baseman Chris Swauger has orally committed to play at The Citadel next year.
Swauger hit .343 as a junior, playing part time, and is perhaps most remembered for a mammoth home run he hit in the region quarterfinals against Mulberry.
He also was recruited by Boston College, Furman, Virginia and the Naval Academy.
