It's a dark and stormy night, the car has a flat tire on a deserted road, Janet and Brad make their way to an old house in search of help, and . . . well, you know the rest. The Rocky Horror Show - Live! is the stage version of the midnight movie hit. Omar Almodovar, above, is featured as Dr. Frank N. Furter in the Looking Glass Theatre production, directed by Sheri Whittington, which opens tonight and runs through Nov. 9 at Gorilla Theatre. Show times are 7 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday, 8 p.m. and midnight Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. $20, $25, with a $5 discount Thursday. Audience participation, costumes encouraged, with prop bags for sale. (813) 879-2914.

Concerts in the park

Associate conductor Susan Haig leads the Florida Orchestra in a pair of park concerts this weekend. On the agenda are a Duke Ellington suite, a tribute to '70s pop music, Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture - plus fireworks. Friday night, the concert is in Plant Park at the University of Tampa. Saturday night, it's in St. Petersburg's Vinoy Park. Both begin at 7 p.m. with free admission. (813) 286-1170.
