Team Pop Trivia

By GINA VIVINETTO
Published October 23, 2003

This week's winner: Hilary Hemmins of Dunedin knew that Us3 was the hip-hop group that scored a 1994 hit with Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia), which sampled Herbie Hancock's Cantaloupe Island.

This week's question: Today is "Weird Al" Yankovic's 44th birthday. Yankovic has been scoring hits with parodies of popular songs since the early 1980s. The 1993 hit Ricky was a spoof of Toni Basil's Mickey. It also paid homage to a vintage American television sitcom. To enter your name in the random drawing for the Weekend T-shirt, tell us the TV show Yankovic honored.
