Ruth Eckerd Hall makeover
[Times photo: Jim Damaske]

Ruth Eckerd Hall, where we've seen everyone from Elvis Costello to the Chocolate Nutcracker to the Florida Orchestra, has been closed for months. Now, after a multimillion-dollar facelift, it's ready for its closeup, reopening tonight with renowned guitarists Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and Yngwie Malmsteen. This view of the main stage shows the new theater seats, but there's a lot more to this project. See Page 19W for more on the hall and the concert.
