NEW PORT RICHEY - A man's body was found at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday in a car parked at Eckerd Drugs on the corner of Rowan Road and State Road 54, law officials said. It might have been there for as long as three days, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, which identified the man as 29-year-old Salvatore Ferrara of Chantilly Lane in Port Richey. "We found drug paraphernalia, which leads us to believe it was a drug overdose," sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll said. The body was sent to the medical examiner for an autopsy.
