"RIVERHAWK RHYTHM FESTIVAL' will be today through Sunday at Sertoma Youth Ranch off Clay Hill Road west of Dade City. The fest features bluegrass, acoustic, Cajun, roots, rock and "raging Celtic bluegrass rock" music by Sam Pacetti, Reggae Cowboys, Bailey Jester, Gypsy Wind, Michael Veitch and more than 30 other bands. There are music workshops and special activities for children on Saturday and Sunday. Entertainment is 1 p.m. to midnight today ($25); 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday ($35); and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday ($25). Parking is $5; camping is $10 to $60. Call (863) 984-8445 for availability. LAND O'LAKES FLAPJACK FESTIVAL is today through Sunday at the Community Center off U.S. 41, three miles north of SR 54 or seven miles south of SR 52. Events include a carnival, arts and crafts, exhibits, food and special activities. Hours are from 4 to 11 p.m. today, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Saturday's highlights are a free flapjack breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m., the Rock'n 50s Parade at 11 a.m. and James Taylor Curtis and the Silver Eagle Band at 8 p.m. On Sunday, the Optimist Breakfast is at 8 a.m., a motorcycle ride and rally is at 9 a.m. and entertainment starts at 10 a.m.

THE GAYLORDS (Isle of Capri, From the Vine Came the Grape) will perform at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pasco-Hernando Community College Performing Arts Center, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. The singing-comedy duo (Burt Holiday and Burt Bonaldi) started out in Detroit and had a string of hits in the early 1950s and another, Eh! Cumpari!, in the 1970s. Tickets are $12 to $16 and are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today in the PHCC book store or by calling (727) 816-3322 today. Some tickets may be available at the box office an hour before the show.

A VIDEO OF MOZART'S "THE MAGIC FLUTE' will be shown at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, 600 Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs (Two blocks west of U.S. 19). Hosts are the Pinellas Opera League.

RICHEY CONCERT BAND will perform "Concert in the Park" at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Sims Park, New Port Richey. The program includes What I Did for Love, Ain't That a Shame, Washington Post March. Bring folding chairs or a blanket. Refreshments and snacks will be for sale.

SINGER TIM MCGUIGAN will perform at the luncheon of the Performing Arts Guild of Pasco County at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Spartan Manor. Dinner and show, $13. Deadline for reservations is today. Call Margarethe Bartesch at 869-2257.

THE HUDSON SEAFEST opens Thursday (carnival only) with all activities open Nov. 14-16. It's west of USA Flea Market (go west at U.S. 19 and SR 52), Hudson. Hours are 6 to 11 p.m. Thursday; 5 to 11 p.m. Nov. 14; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Nov. 15 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 16. Activities include a carnival, arts and crafts, entertainment and seafood dinners and sandwiches. Admission is free; parking is $3.

PIANIST LORA BAGRYANOVA will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday at Hudson Regional Library, 8012 Library Road (off Fivay Road), Hudson. There is no admission charge.

VISUAL ARTS

ARTIST LYNDON J.B. SCHEEREN and jewelry designer Deanna Dudney are featured in "Wired Up With All This and That" at Progress Energy Art Gallery, 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey, through Nov. 30. A reception will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the gallery. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.

WEST PASCO ART GUILD's current exhibit, "Something Old ... Something New," concludes today at the gallery, corner Jefferson and Missouri streets, New Port Richey (two blocks south of the library off Main Street). Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

PAINTINGS AND LITHOGRAPHS by artist Stephen Kline continue through Dec. 14 at the Pasco-Hernando Community College West Campus Pottberg Library. Kline designed the "Florida-State of the Arts" license plate which has raised thousands of dollars for the arts. This exhibit features presidential portraits, lithographs of dogs and language. Viewing hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays; and 2 to 4 p.m. Sundays.

AUDITIONS AND CONTESTS

AUDITIONS FOR CHASCO FIESTA 2004 entertainers will be held by SBray Productions from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 15 and 16 at Jeff Arthur Productions, 2857 Executive Drive, Clearwater.
