Charlie Whitehurst, Clemson QB

The sophomore passed and ran effectively and smartly, keeping the heretofore stingy FSU defense off balance.

Derrick Hamilton, Clemson WR

The senior caught a 58-yard touchdown late in the third to become the school's all-time leader in all-purpose yards (4,406+).

Jerome Carter, FSU safety

The junior came up with his first career interception late in the first half to stop a Clemson drive in the red zone and keep his team in the game.
