Dine

I've had enough . . .

By CHRIS SHERMAN
Published November 13, 2003

Specials without prices.

Stocks may be up, but most of us still care how much a meal costs. We don't pop more than $15 for an entree without thought. Yet servers who go on endlessly about tonight's special of seared sea bass, lemon herb risotto and such can't bear to voice three not-so little words: "It's twenty-four dollars." Guess they don't want to spoil the mood. They let the bill do it.
