Walker fined $5,000 by NFL for conduct

TAMPA - The Bucs aren't the only ones paying for Kenyatta Walker's personal fouls.

Walker was fined $5,000 by the league Thursday for grabbing the face mask of Panthers defensive lineman Mike Rucker, twisting it and head-butting him in a 27-24 loss Sunday.

Playing mostly against Rucker, the league sack leader, Walker was called for three personal fouls for grabbing the face mask. He also received a holding penalty that the Panthers declined.

"I'm over it now," Walker said of his performance against the Panthers. "You don't have time to sit there and sulk right now. We're not in the position to. You've got to move on. We've got Green Bay, so you've got to play ball."

It's the second time the league has fined a Bucs player for unsportsmanlike conduct in a game against the Panthers. Receiver Keenan McCardell was fined $12,500 for two illegal blocks in a 12-9 loss Sept. 14.
