Students who apply for admission to the University of Florida, Florida State University or New College now must submit essays, one of the many ways the admissions process has changed in recent years. The essay questions are fairly tame, especially compared with those asked by schools in other states. Below are examples:

1) Describe an activity, interest, experience in your life (this could be a book, movie or an activity or experience at work, home or school) that has been particularly meaningful to you.
