TAMPA - The Jesuit ground attack never skipped a beat as the Tigers plowed through Dixie Hollins 39-13 in the first David Logan Scholarship Bowl.

The Tigers scored a pair of touchdowns from Seun Bayode less than five minutes into the game. But after Bayode sprained his ankle, sophomore Anthony Allen assumed a starring role. He dashed in from 14 yards out early in the second quarter as Jesuit (5-4) built a 25-0 lead.

Allen went for 30 yards on his first carry to set up Bayode's first touchdown and finished the half with 83 yards. He scored two more times.

Following a disastrous first half in which Dixie Hollins fumbled on its first play and threw an interception that Jesuit returned for a touchdown on its initial pass, the Rebels rebounded in the third quarter. Quarterback Mike Martin ran 64 yards on the first play of the second half, eclipsing the team's 41 yards of offense in the opening half.

Martin found Donnie Grant two plays later for Dixie's first score. He found senior Joshua Pattenaude for a 70-yard strike.

But the Rebels fumbledfor the second time in the fourth quarter. Dixie had three turnovers and a blocked punt, all leading to Jesuit scores.
