SPRING HILL - A 29-year-old Spring Hill man suffered minor injuries early Friday morning after he was jumped by a group of men while walking home, authorities said.

According to the sheriff's report, the victim was walking on Courtland Road about 4 a.m. when he saw a green Mitsubishi Lancer drive by. He continued to Fairhaven Avenue when he noticed that the car had turned around and stopped at the corner.

Then two men got out of the car and the driver asked, "What did you say about my car?" the report said.

When the victim replied that he did not say anything about the car, two other men came out of the car and began hitting and kicking him.

An hour later, when the victim's girlfriend returned home, she noticed blood on the floor and found him sitting on the couch with cuts on his hands and face. The victim's shirt was torn and his silver chain was broken, the report said.

She called 911, but sheriff's deputies were unable to find the attackers.
