RECAP: A second missed field goal by Seth Marler kept the score 10-10. The Jaguars had driven to the Bucs 23, primarily on the legs of Fred Taylor, who ran for 32 of the drive's 46 yards, including a 25-yard burst around the left end. But Marler's 41-yarder again drifted wide left. ... Martin Gramatica returned the favor, shanking a 45-yarder wide left after Tampa Bay reached the 27. The Bucs overcame a false start on Ken Dilger and a hold against Charles Lee to get within range.

KEY PLAYS: Although they resulted in no points, Brad Johnson completed passes of 8 yards to McCardell and 14 to Thomas Jones during the drive capped by Gramatica's miss.

KEY STATS: Rushing - Bucs 43, Jaguars 54; Passing - Bucs 57, Jaguars 3; Total offense - Bucs 100, Jaguars 57; Sacks - Bucs 0, Jaguars 1; Turnovers - Bucs 0, Jaguars 0; Time of possession - Bucs 9:53, Jaguars 5:07.

DID YOU NOTICE: The Bucs' second drive was hampered by an unnecessary roughness against linebacker Vinny Ciurciu on a punt return. Instead of starting at their 36, but Bucs started at the 22. ... A 50-yard Tom Tupa punt that rolled out of bounds at the 9 was wiped out by an illegal man downfield. The rekick went out of bounds at the 36. ... A controversial pass interference against Tim Wansley gave the Jaguars a first down at their 49 as the quarter ended.
