PINELLAS PARK - A man sought in the robbery of eight banks is suspected of holding up a ninth bank on Monday.

Police say Roger R. Serio robbed the Wachovia Bank, 8851 U.S. 19, and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt in the afternoon holdup.

Police have said Serio, 32, is robbing banks to pay for a crack cocaine addiction. Investigators say he has made no effort to disguise himself during the holdups. Surveillance cameras have shot clear photos of him.

Anyone with information about him can call Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-873-8477.
