TAMPA - The robber should have taken his victim's advice.

Tampa police are looking for a tall, young man who broke into an 80-year-old woman's home on W Morrison Avenue while pretending to be a city Water Department worker, spokesman Joe Durkin said. He stole her wallet and car keys, and fled in her car, which has a bumper sticker that says "Just Be Nice."

The man, who is 6 feet 2, black, 20 to 30 years old and wore a white T-shirt with "Player" on the front, knocked on a rear door about 9:15 a.m. Monday and told the woman he needed to fix her sprinkler system, Durkin said. When she opened the door to question him, he burst inside.

The woman suffered minor injuries to her face, hands and neck, Durkin said. She was treated at Memorial Hospital and released.

The stolen car is a tan, four-door 1999 Buick Century, with Florida tag H59HJS.
