TAMPA - Hillsborough Sheriff's officials arrested a Tampa man early Wednesday as part of a coordinated sweep of suspects in a major New York heroin trafficking ring.
Sheriff's officials were asked by New York authorities to arrest Reinaldo Colon, 29, at his home on Hollowell Drive about the same time as New York officials served warrants on suspects in New York.
Colon, who was charged with conspiracy, is among 24 people suspected of having a role in the drug ring.
