LARGO - A 22-year-old bicyclist was killed after colliding with a car on Keene Road Wednesday night.
Largo police said it was about 10:35 p.m. when Jeremy Ray Hall, 6760 121st Ave., No. 12, Pinellas Park, darted out on a bicycle from the entrance of Imperial Palms Apartments. He was headed east across Keene Road and was struck by a 1985 Chevrolet Camaro headed south on Keene Road in the center lane. Hall's bicycle was struck by the right front of the Camaro and Hall was thrown from the bike. Hall was transported to Largo Medical Center Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:48 p.m.
The driver of the Camaro, John Martin Harrell, 33, was heading to his Largo home. Harrell's vision was blocked by another vehicle, police said. No charges will be filed against Harrell, police said. "There was not even a traffic violation," said Largo Police Sgt. Edward Sohoski.
