ST. PETERSBURG - Police are requesting the public's help in identifying a young man who groped a teenage girl and a woman while they exercised in the Historic Old Northeast neighborhood.
Detective Bill Burris said that within 15 minutes on Dec. 9, the man grabbed a 15-year-old jogger's leg and 31-year-old woman on in-line skates. The incidents happened in the 1700 block of Coffee Pot Blvd. NE and 1600 block of Walnut Street NE.
"A suspect that does this stuff could escalate his actions," Burris said.
The man was riding a dark beach cruiser bicycle and is described as white, about 18 years old with a fair complexion and acne. He stands 5 feet 9 and weighs 150 to 175 pounds. He was wearing a gray T-shirt and dark shorts.
Anyone with information was asked to call Burris at (727) 893-4035 or dispatch, 893-7780.
