STANFORD, Calif. - Once Tennessee figured out how to fluster Nicole Powell, the Vols began to rally.

Shanna Zolman scored five of her 18 in overtime, and the second-ranked Vols survived 70-66 Sunday against No.6 Stanford in a game of unbeaten teams.

Powell had 32 points, five shy of her career high, and 16 rebounds but shot 7-of-25 after halftime. The senior forward and All-America candidate missed a shot under pressure just before the buzzer in regulation and a 3-pointer from the top of the arc with 11 seconds left in overtime that would have tied it.

Shyra Ely and Ashley Robinson added 16 points each for Tennessee, which earned its second comeback victory in four days despite poor shooting. Stanford, which shot 56.5 percent in the first half, had 20 turnovers and allowed 17 offensive rebounds.

Tennessee's LaToya Davis forced overtime when she stole the ball from Kelley Suminski at midcourt and tied it at 56 with 20 seconds left. Powell then went the length of the court but missed.

Tennessee shot an uncharacteristic 23.5 percent (8-of-34) in the first half and trailed by as many as 14 points.

NO.3 DUKE 90, TULSA 36: Mistie Bass had 21 points and a career-high 12 rebounds to lead the host Blue Devils.

NO.5 TEXAS 91, N. TEXAS 50: Kala Bowers scored 22 and the host Longhorns shot 78 percent from the field in the second half.

NO.7 PENN ST. 96, PITT 44: Kelly Mazzante scored 31 in 30 minutes to lead the host Lions. Mazzante had 22 points in the first half to 21 for the Panthers.

NO.11 KANSAS ST. 94, CREIGHTON 60: Nicole Ohlde scored a season-high 32 to lead the host Wildcats. After losing two early road games, Kansas State has won five straight by an average of 36 points.

NO.12 LA. TECH 94, MISS. ST. 65: Trina Frierson had 27 points and 11 rebounds to lead five players in double figures for the host Techsters.

RUTGERS 73, NO.19 TCU 65: Cappie Pondexter scored 23, and the host Scarlet Knights hit 14 of 18 free throws in the final three minutes to snap a four-game skid.

NO.24 AUBURN 100, PRAIRIE VIEW 48: Le'Coe Willingham scored 19 to lead five players in double figures for the host Tigers.

State

FSU 65, USF 58: Lauren Bradley and Tasheika Allen scored 14 each and the host Seminoles rallied late.

Bradley's layup with 3:26 left started a game-ending 10-2 run by Florida State, which shot 55.2 percent after halftime but couldn't pull away until the final minutes.

"We looked like a team that had a seven-day layoff, and they looked like they had had as long a layoff," FSU coach Sue Semrau said.

"Neither team really did a good job of valuing the basketball, but what I saw out of both teams was a tremendous fight. I thought both Lauren and Tasheika just stepped up so big."

UF 75, NO.15 UCSB 49: Vanessa Hayden had 31 points, 17 rebounds and seven blocks to help the host Gators end a 13-game losing streak against ranked opponents. April McDivitt's two free throws with 7:29 left brought the Gauchos within 55-46, but Florida closed with a 20-3 run.

GA. TECH 70, UCF 48: Fallon Stokes scored 20 and freshman Stephanie Higgs added 13, including 11 of the host Jackets' last 13.
