Journey into America's musical roots at Largo Library

LARGO - Musician and folklorist Jonathan Kay will present Roots of American Music - a journey into America's musical heritage from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Largo Library, 351 East Bay Drive.

Kay is the folklorist for the Stephen Foster State Folk Culture Center in White Springs in north Florida. He regularly presents programs on Florida's folk music heritage and plays many different instruments, including the dulcimer.

The program is free, but seating is limited. To reserve a seat, call the library at 587-6715, ext. 2507.
