PHILADELPHIA - San Francisco receiver Terrell Owens broke his left collarbone Sunday, possibly ending his career with the 49ers.

Owens, who will become a free agent after the season, had one catch for 20 yards before leaving late in the first half of San Francisco's win.

Owens, who did not speak with reporters, will visit doctors today to determine if surgery is necessary. He will not play in the team's finale against Seattle.

"He'll be back to play next year, but obviously he's out for Saturday," coach Dennis Erickson said.

It was not clear how Owens was injured. He left for the locker room late in the first half and returned to the sideline later in street clothes.

BENGALS: Chad Johnson might have invited another fine from the league because he wore orange shoes in violation of the uniform code. Johnson was fined $10,000 for a preprinted sign after he scored the first touchdown in a victory over the 49ers last week, the third time he has been fined this season for touchdown celebrations.

BILLS: Tackle Mike Williams sat out with an injured right knee.

BRONCOS: Running back Clinton Portis was inactive because of right knee and ankle injuries.

BROWNS: Players honored Otto Graham with black-and-white No. 14 decals on their helmets. Graham died last week at 82 in Sarasota. ... Defensive end Gerard Warren, a No. 1 draft pick out of Florida, didn't start for the first time this season. He was benched for the first series by coach Butch Davis for being late to a team meeting on Saturday.

CARDINALS: Receiver Anquan Boldin broke the league record for catches by a rookie. Boldin's fifth catch, a 12-yarder from Josh McCown, came late in the third quarter. It was his 91st catch, one more than Terry Glenn had for New England in 1996. Boldin, a former Florida State standout, finished with 10 catches, giving him 96 total. ... Safety Justin Lucas (right ankle) was placed on injured reserve and center Pete Kendall (shoulder) was inactive.

EAGLES: The team lost Carlos Emmons, its best linebacker, to a broken left leg. He was hurt tackling Kevan Barlow midway through the second quarter. ... Running back Correll Buckhalter was deactivated a day after he missed a team meeting and was late for a walkthrough.

JETS: Guard Dave Szott injured his left knee Saturday against New England and will have an MRI to determine the extent of the injury.

RAMS: Receiver Isaac Bruce was inactive after spraining his left ankle last week against Seattle. Bruce told teammates he planned to play, but coach Mike Martz held him out as a precaution.

RAVENS: Guard Bennie Anderson (sprained knee) and tight end John Jones (quads) were hurt in the first half.

SEAHAWKS: Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck tore the labrum in his left shoulder and twisted his right ankle. "I think it's something I can deal with because it's my nonthrowing shoulder," he said. Hasselbeck returned from the shoulder injury, but the ankle injury forced him to miss the final 12 minutes. ... Linebacker Chad Brown sat out with an undisclosed illness.

TEXANS: Linebacker Shantee Orr broke his left ankle, and cornerback Kenny Wright, starting because of Aaron Glenn's season-ending groin surgery, tore a knee ligament. ... The team had a bit of fun referencing Saints receiver Joe Horn's Dec. 14 cell phone touchdown celebration. After David Carr's 20-yard touchdown to Corey Bradford in the third quarter, Carr and center Steve McKinney ran to the goal-post padding. McKinney pretended to search the bottom of the post for a cell phone. Horn was fined $30,000 for his antics.

PARCELLS' ADVICE: When the only two coaches who've taken the Giants to the Super Bowl shook hands, Bill Parcells had some friendly advice for Jim Fassel. Fassel is on his way out with the Giants; he'll be fired at season's end. His team lost 19-3 to the Parcells-coached Cowboys. Parcells said he told Fassel "to evaluate the future very carefully. I've been out of coaching and there's nothing to worry about out there."
