BROOKSVILLE - A 37-year-old Bushnell man was hospitalized after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck Monday morning, authorities said.
John W. Powell was riding south on U.S. 41 about 5:55 a.m. Monday when he collided with a pickup, driven by George H. Conklin, 42. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Conklin of 417 Ederington Drive was traveling north on U.S. 41 when he turned left on Snow Memorial Highway in front of Powell.
Conklin was not injured. The case remains under investigation.
