BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Marshall Strickland came off the bench to score 20, Bracey Wright added 19 and Pat Ewing Jr. produced the first double double of his career in Indiana's 77-57 victory over Morehead State Tuesday night.
It was Indiana's largest victory margin of the season and came just three days after Mike Davis endured his worst loss as the Hoosiers' coach.
Davis, angered at the Hoosiers' 80-41 loss to No. 2 Kentucky Saturday, promised changes - and he made them. Indiana (5-4) used three new starters - Ewing, A.J. Moye and Ryan Tapak - and each had a hand in the team's big turnaround.
Ewing finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds, while Moye had 14 points and Tapak ran the Hoosiers' offense almost flawlessly. Indiana had just three turnovers in the first half and 13 for the game.
Ricky Minard scored 26 to lead Morehead State (4-4).
OHIO STATE 69, E. ILLINOIS 50: Embarrassed by a loss Saturday to Seton Hall, coach Jim O'Brien shook up his lineup against the visiting Panthers. And it worked. Velimir Radinovic scored 16 and nine other Buckeyes (6-4) scored in the rout. Ohio State was coming off a 75-59 loss at Seton Hall. And O'Brien was so disappointed with the effort, he threw out a lineup against Eastern Illinois (1-7) that included Radinovic, three former walk-ons and a seldom-used big man, Matt Marinchick. Radinovic, is a senior captain and regular starter. But the others had a combined 19 games this season in which they had not played at all.

For Quinnipiac (2-6), it was consecutive big losses to a Big East team. The Bobcats were beaten 88-55 by Connecticut on Dec. 13. Quinn, who had scored his previous career-high of 19 against American on Sunday, also had career highs for 3-pointers (six), 3-point attempts (8), field goals (eight) and field-goal attempts (11).
RHODE ISLAND 96, CHARLOTTE 90 (OT): Dawan Robinson scored 31, including five in the final 36.7 seconds of regulation for the host Rams (8-2). Charlotte (6-3) led 80-75 with less than a minute remaining in regulation.
