TORONTO - Gary Roberts scored twice as the Toronto extended tis franchise-record points streak to 15 games with a 5-2 victory against Florida on Tuesday.
Nik Antropov added a goal and an assist for Toronto, which hasn't lost in regulation since Nov. 20 at Edmonton. Toronto is 13-0-1-1 during the stretch.
The victory moved Toronto into first place overall in the league. The Maple Leafs haven't led the league in points this deep into the season since 1962-63.
Roberts streaked toward the net and redirected Mats Sundin's pinpoint pass, giving Toronto a 1-0 lead on the power play 9:53 into the game. He scored his second power-play goal 5:04 into the second, and Antropov's slap shot from the circle gave Toronto a 4-1 lead with 6:10 left in the second.
ISLANDERS 4, FLYERS 2: Jason Blake's goal with five minutes left lifted the Islanders, who have won five in a row at home. Philadelphia is 2-3-2-2 in its past nine.
The Flyers trailed 1-0 for the 14th consecutive game. But they took a 2-1 lead with two third-period goals. After New York's Arron Asham's goal made it 2-2, Blake fired a slap shot from the top of the left circle that beat a screened Jeff Hackett to the far side.
CAPITALS 3, CANADIENS 2: Peter Bondra scored with 53.8 seconds left for host Washington. Michael Ryder tied it for Montreal, which failed to win two in a row for the 11th time this season, when he batted a rebound out of the air 8:24 into the third period. But Bondra was camped out behind goalie Mathieu Garon and knocked in a loose puck in the crease.
FLAMES 2, OILERS 1: Rhett Warrener's first goal in 100 games gave host Calgary its fourth consecutive victory. Warrener, who last scored March 1, 2002, made it 2-0 when he took a rebound in the slot and drilled a shot into the empty top half of the net.
BLACKHAWKS 3, BLUES 0: Michael Leighton stopped 23 shots for his first shutout this season for host Chicago, which won for only the second time in 21 games (2-12-4-3). Steve Sullivan made it 1-0 1:41 into the game. He faked his way around defenseman Chris Pronger, and after fanning on his first shot, he slid a shot between Brent Johnson's legs.
COYOTES 2, BLUE JACKETS 1: David Tanabe scored the winner early in the third for visiting Phoenix. Jan Hrdina tied it with 6:36 left in the second, jamming a one-timer after a feed from Ladislav Nagy. Tanabe blasted a slap shot from the high slot past Fred Brathwaite during a power play 1:52 into the third.
PREDATORS 3, WILD 3: Marian Gaborik broke a nine-game drought with a goal for host Minnesota, which extended its season-high unbeaten streak to six (4-0-2). Jason Wiemer tied it off a pass from Pierre Marc-Bouchard 1:05 after Adam Hall gave Nashville a 3-2 lead with 4:10 left in the second. Nashville had a power play with 30.3 seconds left in overtime, but Kimmo Timonen's last-second shot glanced off goalie Manny Fernandez and over the net.
SENATORS 2, SABRES 2: Derek Roy scored his first career goal as host Buffalo ended a seven-game losing streak despite blowing a two-goal lead. Todd White cut it to 2-1 with 1:01 left in the second. After skating from behind the goal line to 3 feet in front of the net, White lifted a quick shot over Mika Noronen's shoulder. Antoine Vermette tied it 29 seconds later with a wrist shot from the right circle.
THRASHERS: Dany Heatley stepped onto the ice for the first time since the September car crash that killed teammate Dan Snyder and was greeted with applause from about 100 supporters.
The All-Star right wing, who's recovering from reconstructive knee surgery and faces a felony charge of vehicular homicide, skated a few circles and took a few shots at an open net.
General manager Don Waddell said Heatley might start practicing with the team in 3-4 weeks and play by the end of February.
