Musical - Dylan Glatthorn's musical The Way It Goes is at the Palladium, St. Petersburg, Jan. 8-9. $5.

Mendelssohn - William Preucil is the soloist in the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with the Florida Orchestra Jan. 8-10. $21-$45.

Silk - Cellist Yo-Yo Ma and members of the Silk Road Ensemble perform Jan. 10 at Ruth Eckerd Hall. $46, $56.
