Outback Bowl Parade and Ybor Bowl Blast Pep Rally, with floats and 30 marching bands. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and moves along Seventh Avenue in Ybor City. Pep rally with college marching bands and cheerleaders is at 7 p.m. (813) 874-2695. Free.

Noon Year's Eve, annual kids' celebration sponsored by Lowry Park Zoo and Radio Disney with games, entertainment, arts and crafts, countdown to noon with party favors and an orange juice toast. 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at the zoo, 1101 W Sligh Ave., Tampa. Dive in the New Year at Weeki Wachee: Includes two, one-hour dives in the springs and underwater theater (8:30 and 11:45 p.m.), buffet dinner and TV viewing of the New Year's countdown. $50 (dive gear not included), $20 for nondivers. New Year's Eve at Busch Gardens: Extended hours until 1 a.m. with three shows by Darren Romeo, "The Voice of Magic" presented by Siegfried and Roy, 6:30, 8:30 and 10:30 p.m., music by Southtown Fever in Gwazi Park. The roller coasters will be running, and fireworks are set for midnight. Dinner specials and options available for additional fee. The theme park is at 3605 Bougainvillea Ave., Tampa.
