SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Spurs used a late 15-0 run to break open a tight game and win their 12th in a row, 98-83 over the Magic Friday night.

Tim Duncan led San Antonio with 27 points and 16 rebounds, and Tony Parker added a season-high 22 points and Robert Horry had 14 - his high total with the Spurs.

The Spurs began their winning streak Dec. 5 in Orlando after losing four straight and dropping into last place in the Midwest Division. San Antonio now sits atop the division.

The Spurs were up 83-81 when Duncan hit a short jump hook with 6:09 remaining to begin the decisive run. Bruce Bowen made a corner 3-pointer with 3:36 left to make it 90-81, and Parker scored on three consecutive possessions.

Orlando didn't break the run until Zaza Pachulia put in a layup with 3.9 seconds remaining. The Magic missed seven straight shots and had three turnovers during the drought.

Tracy McGrady paced Orlando with 24 points on 8-for-21 shooting, 16 points coming in the first half. Juwan Howard added 13 points and Gordan Giricek 10 for Orlando, which had won four of five.

After trailing by 10 at halftime, a jumper by McGrady and a 3-pointer by Giricek cut the Spurs' advantage to 50-45. Late in the quarter the Magic got within 69-68 on a short hook by Howard, but San Antonio followed with a pair of free throws by Parker and Horry's second 3-pointer to make it 74-68.

HEAT 92, WIZARDS 84: Eddie Jones scored 22 and Rasual Butler added 10 in the fourth quarter for the visiting Heat. Lamar Odom added 17, and Dwyane Wade had 15 for Miami, which has won seven of nine. Wade sprained his right wrist when he was knocked from behind by Washington's Jared Jeffries in a scrum under the Heat basket with 1:20 remaining. X-rays were negative, and Wade, who has scored in double figures for 14 consecutive games, is scheduled to be re-evaluated today.

BULLS 87, CAVALIERS 80: Jamal Crawford matched a season high with 30 points, and Corie Blount made a huge block in the final minute to lead visiting Chicago. Crawford's final basket was a dunk with 21 seconds left after Blount swatted away Kevin Ollie's layup and made a quick outlet pass. LeBron James scored 18 (7-of-24 shooting) and missed a 3-pointer with 35 seconds left that would have put the Cavaliers ahead. Cleveland missed its final seven shots and scored just one point over the final 3:34.

KNICKS 98, GRIZZLIES 94: Keith Van Horn had 13 rebounds and Allan Houston added 23 points to pace New York, which snapped a seven-game road losing streak. Memphis dropped its fourth straight and had its six-game home winning streak stopped. Van Horn connected on 10 of 17 shots, and Houston was 9-of-14 from the field as the Knicks shot 52 percent. Kurt Thomas and Frank Williams each had 18 for New York, Williams adding six assists in a reserve role.

BUCKS 101, PACERS 96: Damon Jones scored all 14 in the fourth as host Milwaukee climbed above .500 for the first time in more than six weeks. Michael Redd scored 26 points, including a key 3-pointer with just over a minute remaining.

NETS 82, PISTONS 79: Jason Kidd had 24 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds for his league-leading fifth triple double. Chauncey Billups missed two 3-pointers in the final seconds for host Detroit.

HORNETS 109, HAWKS 79: David Wesley scored a season-high 32, including five 3-pointers for host New Orleans. Atlanta suffered its ninth consecutive road loss.

JAZZ 97, RAPTORS 94 (OT): Andrei Kirilenko scored 17 and made several big plays in overtime after visiting Toronto scored five in the final 5 seconds of regulation to tie it. The Jazz played without starting center Greg Ostertag, its leading rebounder who had an inflamed left knee.

NUGGETS 95, ROCKETS 94: Carmelo Anthony scored a career-high 37 and Voshon Lenard hit three free throws after being fouled behind the arc with 8.3 seconds left to lift host Denver, which snapped a five-game losing streak against Houston.

CELTICS 104, SUNS 102: Ricky Davis hit a 20-foot jumper with 2.8 seconds left and Paul Pierce scored 19 of his 27 in the second half for visiting Boston.

RATINGS FALL: The matchup between Shaquille O'Neal and Yao Ming failed to boost ratings for ABC. The Christmas doubleheader fell 9 percent from last year in the top 55 U.S. markets, according to Nielsen. The Dallas-Sacramento and Los Angeles-Houston games were watched by an average 4.1 percent of households in the top markets. Last year's Christmas doubleheader, which featured Boston against New Jersey and the Kings against the Lakers, drew a 4.5 rating in the large markets. The 55 markets cover about two-thirds of the country.

MAGIC TRADE: Forward Robert Archibald was traded to Phoenix for a conditional 2005 draft pick.
