BLUM, KATHRYN LORRAINE, 90, of Inverness, died Monday (Dec. 30, 2002) in Inverness. Born in Crestline, Ohio, she came here in 2000 from Troy, Mich. She was a homemaker. COOPER, JOHN WALTER, 76, of Beverly Hills, died Tuesday (Dec. 31, 2002) in Beverly Hills. Born in Cherry Valley, Ark., he came here in 1986 from Jackson, Miss. He was a zone manager for Ford Motor Co. and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the 1979 Hall of Fame in the Super Blitz for Ford Tractor Operations and Shepherds Way Baptist Church in Lecanto. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Barbara; two sons, John Jr., Tampa, and Carl, Great Bend, Kan.; a daughter, Lisa Hunter, Beverly Hills; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. KNIGHT, MARGARET ESTELLE "PEGGY," 71, of Floral City, died Sunday (Dec. 29, 2002) at home under the care of Hospice. Born in Pompano Beach, she came here five years ago from Wilton Manors. MARION, RAYMOND, 80, of Citrus Springs, died Tuesday (Dec. 31, 2002) in Lecanto. Born in Dierks, Ark., he came here in 1985 from Nashville. He was a musician and an Army veteran of World War II. MILAZZO, ANNA, 94, of Inverness, died Monday (Dec. 30, 2002) at Seven Rivers Community Hospital, Crystal River. Born in Italy, she came here a year ago from Trenton, N.J. COTTON, KENNETH W. SR., 88, of Spring Hill, died Monday (Dec. 30, 2002) at Oak Hill Hospital, Brooksville. Born in Windsorville, Conn., he came here in 1973 from Manchester, Conn. He was a retired foreman for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and a member of British American Club, Manchester. He was Methodist. LADD, NORMAN RAY, 74, of Spring Hill, died Monday (Dec. 30, 2002) at Oak Hill Hospital, Spring Hill. Born in Owensboro, Ky., he came here over two years ago from Dallas. He was a retired mechanical engineer with Frigiking, Dallas, before he started his own business, Conaire Air Conditioning Distributors. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and attended Grace Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Indiana Club of Spring Hill and a Shriner. He was a volunteer teacher in the Spring Hill area. MASHBURN, REV. J.T., 95, of Brooksville, died Monday (Dec. 30, 2002) in Brooksville. He was born in Calvary, Ga., and came here 59 years ago. He was a graduate of Norman Park College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He served as an Army lieutenant colonel chaplain under Gen. Patton's Third Army. He retired from the Army to become a Baptist minister, chaplain and missionary serving in Louisiana, Florida, Virginia and many foreign countries. CANTRELL, LEROY, 82, of Tampa, died Monday (Dec. 30, 2002). He was a native of Tennessee and had resided in Tampa since 1948. CICOTTE, ROY B., 81, of Sun City Center, died Saturday (Dec. 28, 2002). He was born in Ecorse, Mich., and was a retired judge from Detroit. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the Parish Council and was an honorary life member of Knights of Columbus Council 3078. He was past president of the Kings Point Federation and president of Manchester I Homeowner's Association. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion and 40/8. FAUNCE, MILDRED V., 90, of Sun City Center, died Sunday (Dec. 29, 2002). A native of Philadelphia, she moved to the Tampa area in 1979. She was a dental assistant and a volunteer at Frankford Hospital and Day Nursery, and was active in Mayfair Presbyterian Church. She, along with her husband, enjoyed golf, bridge, trips and cruises. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Taylor; two daughters, Carolyn Nixon, Sun City Center, and Janet Heilmeier, Dallas; a sister, Edna Cliff, Glenside, Pa.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. JENKINS, TOBIAS B., 85, of Plant City, died Monday (Dec. 30, 2002). He was a Christian and worked as a carpenter. He was born in Claxton, Ga., and moved to Miami in 1947. LUCAS, WILLIAM (BILL) "YANKEE," of Bealton, Va., formerly of Tampa, died Sunday (Dec. 29, 2002) at University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, Va. He was a 1941 graduate of Ambridge High School and served in the Marines during World War II. He retired from the Ambridge Police Force and the Sears automotive service department. He was a member of Beaver Valley Fraternal Order of Police, VFW, American Legion and the Moose Club, all of Tampa. He was also a member of St. Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church. He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of the American Legion and the International Boxing Association. - GEBHARDT, GEORGE W., 82, of Palm Harbor, died Monday (Dec. 30, 2002) at Mease Countryside Hospital, Safety Harbor. He came here in 1982 from his native Philadelphia, where he retired as a supervisor after 20 years with GlaxoSmithKline. He graduated from La Salle University. He was an Army veteran of World War II and earned a Purple Heart while serving with the 79th Infantry. He was a member of George Young Memorial United Methodist Church, Sutherland Masonic Lodge 174 and Lansbrook Country Club, all of Palm Harbor, and the Odd Fellows Lodge in Philadelphia. Born in Terre Haute, Ind., he came to Hudson seven years ago from Pinellas Park, where he lived for 26 years. He was a foreman for Commercial Solvents Chemical Plant.
