  • HENGEVELT, W. GLEN, 55, of Homosassa, formerly of Clearwater, died Monday (Dec. 30, 2002) at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater. Born in Massillon, Ohio, he moved in 1950 to Clearwater and later moved to Homosassa. He attended the University of Florida. He was a Marine Corps veteran, serving two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. He was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart. Survivors include his parents, William M. and Gloria G. Hengevelt, Clearwater; two sisters, G. Lynn Ingle, Delmar, Calif., and Lori Fravel, Palm Harbor; and a companion, Diane Rush. Veterans Cremation & Burial Society, Clearwater.

  • BRADLEY, GEORGE L. SR., 81, of Brooksville, died Tuesday (Dec. 31, 2002) at Oak Hill Hospital, Spring Hill. Born in Copley, Pa., he came here 25 years ago from Woodbury, N.J. He was a retired fire control technician for the United States government. He also worked for Hernando County EMS and Oak Hill Hospital as an Emergency Medical Technician. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post 99, DAV Post 67, VFW Post 10209, Pearl of the West 146 F&AM, High Point Volunteer Fire Department and St. Anthony Catholic Church. He retired as the supervisor of transportation and distribution with the Philadelphia Electric Company. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.
