Letters: Democrats remain party of the people
Editor: It is with great personal sadness that I read about the departure of Kurt Browning and Steve Simon from the Democratic Party. I have the utmost respect for both these men but am puzzled by their decisions. It does not seem right for someone recently elected as a Democrat, as Steve Simon was in September, to switch parties and remain in office. That seems less than honorable to me.
