Xpress, the Coolest Section of the St. Petersburg Times, is the home for features, news and views of interest to young readers. Most of the work in Xpress, which appears on Mondays in Floridian, is produced by the Times' X-Team. The team of journalists ages 9-17 from around the Tampa Bay area is selected every year at the end of the school year to serve during the following school term. The current team of 12 was chosen out of 150 applicants. Watch for X-Team application forms in Xpress during the month of May.

MLK's 'Dream'
Editor's note: The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would have celebrated his 74th birthday on Jan. 15 had he not been felled by an assassin's bullet in 1968. He left behind a wife, four children and a legacy of championing civil rights that resonates today. His most famous speech is undoubtedly the one he delivered on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in August 1963. Others have used portions of the "I Have a Dream" speech to make their own points, whether they have anything to do with King's philosophies or not. On the day the country marks King's birthday, we offer you his words in full:
