CUBA FERRY UNLIKELY: The owner of a ferry running from Tampa to Mexico said he's close to scuttling plans for weekly cruises to Cuba from Tampa. Scotia Prince Cruises said last month it applied for federal licenses to operate the trips from Feb. 25 through the end of April. But the Treasury Department still hasn't responded, making it unlikely the service could start before the ship returns to Maine for the summer, company chairman Matthew Hudson said.
