  • MORGAN, ISHMAEL EDGAR, 85, of Beverly Hills, died Friday (March 7, 2003) in Inverness. Born in Goldsboro, N.C., he came here in 1979 from Detroit. He was a supervisor at Chrysler Corp., retiring in 1979, and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of UAW Local Reg. 8, Reg 31A, Detroit, and North Oak Baptist Church, Citrus Springs. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Marian; a son, Forrest, Pittsburgh; three stepsons, Lon Bennett, Poquoson, Va., David Bennett, Newport News, Va., and Thomsas Bennett, Lake Worth; two stepdaughters, Marlene Long, Coushatta, La., and Carol Iglehart, Hermleigh, Texas; six grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.   • TRYMER, EDWARD, 74, of Beverly Hills, died Wednesday (March 5, 2003) in Beverly Hills. Born in Hempstead, N.Y., he came here five years ago from Tuckerton, N.J. He was a retired glazier and a Merchant Seaman for Getty Oil and Crest Tankers. He enjoyed reading, fishing and crabbing, and creating stained glass objects. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Irene; a son, Daniel, Tuckerton; a sister, Evelyn Kingston, Connecticut; and a granddaughter.
  • WRIGHT, REX ALAN, 51, of Inverness, died Friday (March 7, 2003) at home. He came here in 1987 from his native, Richmond, Ind. He was formerly employed as a mechanic for Sumter Electric Co. and was an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Cindy; a daughter, Chantilla Cook, Somerset, Ky.; and two grandchildren.

  • CARR, ETHEL VIRGINIA, 90, of Spring Hill, died Friday (March 7, 2003) at Hospice Care Center at Heather Hills Nursing Home, New Port Richey. Born in Galax, Va., she came here 22 years ago from Fairfax, Va. She was a legal secretary in Fairfax County and attended Mariner Methodist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Catherine Farris, New Port Richey, and Helen Wernle, Spring Hill, and numerous nieces and nephews.
  • FERDINAND, JOHN JOSEPH, 83, of Spring Hill, died Thursday (March 6, 2003) at Kindred Hospital, Tampa. Born in Allentown, Pa., he came here 17 years ago from Bergenfield, N.J. He was a commercial bus driver, an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 458th Bomber Squadron, and was chief of Fire Company 2, and a member of the Ambulance Corps, both of Bergenfield, N.J., and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, John Jr., Port Richey; a daughter, Barbara Sofranek, Spring Hill; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
  • TRAUERTS, FREDERICK G., 81, of Spring Hill, died Saturday (March 8, 2003) at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he came here five years ago from New Freedom, Pa. He worked for the Water Department in Hempstead, N.Y., and was a Navy veteran. An avid golfer, he enjoyed fishing and was a member of VFW 10209. Survivors include his wife, Caroline; two daughters, Glenna Healy, and Diane Yohe, both of Tallahassee; a stepbrother, Ralph Trauerts, New Jersey; and two grandchildren.
  • WEIDNER, EVELYN MANN, 78, of Spring Hill, died Saturday (March 8, 2003) at Oak Hill Hospital, Brooksville. Born in East Boston, Mass., she came here in 1986 from Billerica, Mass. She was Catholic. Survivors include her husband, Floyd; a son, David Mann, Boxford, Mass.; two daughters, Beverly Stahl, New Port Richey, and Jeanne Barley, Getzville, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.

  • CRAY, ROSEMARY CLARE, 85, of Tampa, died Friday (March 7, 2003). She was born in Cook, Minn., and had lived in the Tampa area two years, coming from Michigan. Survivors include a son, Scott Cray, Fort Myers; two daughters, Donna Olmstead, Tampa, and Cheryl DeSnyder, Marine City, Mich.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.   • DUGAN, RITA, 54, of Brandon, died Saturday (March 8, 2003). A native of Perry, Ga., she had lived in the Tampa area since 1969, coming from Thomaston, Ga. She was a schoolteacher, a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Alpha Delta Kappa, Phi Delta Kappa and the Hillsborough County Elementary Math Council Board.   • LeCROY, DR. CARLOS D., 60, of Tierra Verde, formerly of Tampa, died Friday (March 7, 2003) at Bayfront Medical Center. Born in Chattanooga, Tenn., he moved to Tierra Verde in 1989 from Tampa, where he was an endodontist and a partner in LeCroy, Delgado & Kamaris, PA for 24 years. He was a 1969 graduate of the University of South Florida, a 1973 graduate of Emory University Dental School in Atlanta, and a 1979 graduate of the Veterans Administration endodontic program in Miami. He was a Green Beret reservist. He was an avid boater and fisherman and attended Island Chapel in Tierra Verde. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Barbara; a son, Jon, Maplewood, N.J.; his mother, Mary Louise LeCroy, St. Petersburg; a sister, Willow Pscion, Tampa; and two grandchildren. E.   • MCLAUGHLIN, WALTER, 67, of Old Town, Maine, and winter resident of Zephyrhills, died Friday (March 7, 2003) at home. Born in Old Town, he has been a winter resident since 1998. He was a retired heavy equipment operator, an Air Force veteran stationed in England, and a member of the Eagles, Brewer, Maine. He was a real estate agent and worked for Coldwell Banks. Survivors include his wife, Louise M.; two daughters, Anita M. Kotz, Waukesha, Wis., and Kelly J.     • DANIEL, DONNA P., 77, of Clearwater, died Sunday (March 2, 2003) at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater. She was born in Cortland, Ohio, and came here in 1957 from Warren, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of the Women of the Moose. Survivors include a son, Darren L., Clearwater; a sister, Grace Powell, Cortland; and three grandchildren.     • DEJONGH, YETTIE, 78, of Clearwater, died Tuesday (March 4, 2003) at Sylvan Health Center, Clearwater. She was born in the Netherlands and came here in 1980 from Hawthorne, N.J. She was a seamstress. Survivors include a daughter, Yettie Salo, Clearwater; a son, Garry, Ridgewood, N.J.; a brother, Hans Maliepaard, Netherlands; a grandson; and two great-granddaughters.     • KORB, ELSA W., 98, of Clearwater, died Friday (March 7, 2003) at home. Born in Conshohocken, Pa., she came here as a winter resident in 1949 and moved here permanently in 1987 from Evansville, Ind., where she co-owned and operated Korb Homemade Ice Cream for 14 years. Survivors include two sons, Harold W., Clearwater, and Donald L., St. Petersburg; a daughter, Doris J. Meier, St. Petersburg; two sisters, Martha Simpson, Evansville, and Emily Schnabel, Schaumburg, Ill.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.     • SCHAUB, JOHN "JACK," 71, of Clearwater, died Friday (March 7, 2003) at Kindred Hospital of Central Tampa. He was born in Fond du Lac, Wis., and came here in 1990 from Burbank, Ill. He worked many years as a journeyman plasterer for the family business of John Schaub and Sons Plastering and retired from Royce Engineering in Chicago. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Largo.     • ECKHART, HENRY E., 87, of Dunedin, died Thursday (March 6, 2003) at Mease Countryside Hospital, Safety Harbor. He was born in Valrico and came here in 1971 from Michigan. He was a retired Air Force colonel. He was Catholic. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; four daughters, Marie, Corinne, Cynthia and Loretta; and four grandchildren.     • EVERSOLE, JIMMY D., 46, of New Port Richey, formerly of Dunedin, died Thursday (March 6, 2003) at home under the care of hospice. He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, and came here in 1998 from Salem, Ohio. He was an Army veteran and a member of the DAV. Survivors include a son, Jesse, and a daughter, Rachel, both of Largo; his father, Henry Vincent, East Liverpool; a brother, Vincent David, Hanoverton, Ohio; a sister, Heather Dianna Bazazpoor, New Port Richey; and three grandchildren.     • WESER, WALTER M., 79, of Dunedin, formerly of Clearwater, died Sunday (March 9, 2003) at home under the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. He was born in Cleveland, came to Clearwater in 1956 from Norwalk, Ohio, and moved in 1983 to Dunedin. He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Clearwater. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member and usher at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Dunedin, and a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and the 96th Infantry Division Association. Survivors include three sons, Richard F., Houston, Michael J., Richardson, Texas, and Clifford J., Brier, Wash.; a daughter, Susan Weser Jones, Brentwood, Tenn.; and five grandchildren. He retired as executive vice president and chief operating officer after 41 years with Curtin & Pease Peneco in Ohio and Dunedin. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Largo. Survivors include a daughter, Gayle Ann Morden, Palm Harbor; four sisters, Lelia Wolcott and Nora Sauers, both of Vero Beach, Joanne Andrews, Orlando, and Gladys Pinello, South Carolina; two brothers, Raymond Snyder, Pittsburgh, and Robert Snyder, Kentucky; and three grandsons. He was born in Plumwood, Ohio, and came here in 1984 from Mechanicsburg, Ohio. He was the former owner of Just in Case and manager of U-Stor Self Storage in Pinellas Park. He was a Navy veteran. He was Methodist. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Maxine; two daughters, Kelly Brittingham, Springfield, Ohio, and Jennifer Clifford, Bellingham, Mass.; two sons, Billy Alan McCommis, Providence, R.I., and Michael McCommis, Bellingham; his mother, Beatrice I.     • BANKS-ROBINSON, EVELYN, 90, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday (March 9, 2003) at home. She came here in 1936 from her native Thomasville, Ga. She retired in 1986 after 36 years as a housekeeper. She was a member of Greater Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church, where she served with the Pastor's Aid Committee. Survivors include two daughters, Janice Harris and Maxine Robinson, both of St. Petersburg; four sisters, Lucille Graham, Perth Amboy, N.J., Jessie Brown and Mamie Law, both of Boston, Ga., and Pollie Bullock, St. Petersburg; a brother, Walter Williams, Perth Amboy; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.     • BRADSHAW, DENISE MARIE, 52, of St. Petersburg, died Friday (March 7, 2003) at St. Anthony's Hospital. A native of Bronx, N.Y., she came here in 1958. She graduated from the University of South Florida in 1971 with a degree in sociology and was an operations analyst for the Department of Revenue Child Support Enforcement. Survivors include a daughter, Hope T. Edwards, Largo; a son, Scott R. Bradshaw, and her mother, Cherese B. Oliva, both of St. Petersburg; and a grandson, Jason E. Edwards, Largo. R.     • MIGLINO, JOHN N., 76, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday (March 6, 2003). Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he came here in 1967. He owned Independent Taxi for 29 years. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving in the occupation of Japan. He was a volunteer at the VA Medical Center at Bay Pines. He was a member of Cathedral of St. Jude.     • MYERS, BERNADETTE D., 53, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday (March 4, 2003). She came here in 1957 from her native Columbus, Ohio. She was a production inspector in the space division of Honeywell International, where she worked for 23 years. She also was a licensed practical nurse. She attended Holy Family Catholic Church and Unity Church. Survivors include a son, Christopher, St. Petersburg; her mother, Betty Cole, Oklawaha; and her sister, Barbara Fox, Belleview.     • PENDLEY, DOROTHY JEAN, 54, of St. Petersburg, died Friday (March 7, 2003) at Burkett Villa, St. Petersburg. She was a native of St. Petersburg and worked at the PARC workshop as an assembler. She attended Pasadena Baptist Church. She was active in the Special Olympics and was a member of the Handicapped Youth of America. She was an artist. Survivors include a sister, Frances P.
