Citrus Digest: Man accused of sex with teens faces new charge
Joshua Adam Science, the Homosassa man arrested earlier this week and accused of having sexual encounters with two teenage girls and trying to arrange a third, now faces an additional charge of transmitting harmful material to a minor. The Citrus County Sheriff's Office alleges that Science, 29, sent through the Internet a picture of his penis to one of the three girls, a 15-year-old from Homosassa. Science is being held on several charges, including sexual battery, in connection with the three cases. Sheriff's officials armed with a search warrant, also searched Science's residence Wednesday and seized six computer systems, an assortment of computer CDs and floppy disks, as well as more than 120 videotapes, many of which were pornographic, the Sheriff's Office reported. Science remained at the Citrus County jail, where he was being held without bail.
