Omaha's rich soil -- and the tiny independent label Saddle Creek -- keeps churning out bands, such as Cursive and Rilo Kiley, that tackle a hundred emotions in a handful of songs, using the basic tools of rock 'n' roll: guitars, drums and grudges.
