DUNEDIN -- After four months of renovation, the Winn-Dixie at 1296 County Road 1 in Dunedin is sporting new and expanded features. The store has a new seafood department and the bakery-deli has doubled and now includes a digital convection oven and a rotisserie chicken oven. The frozen food section also has doubled and offers new and more selections.

What benefits are there to another Wal-Mart?
I am a former resident of Cypress Pointe RV Park in Palm Harbor and am very concerned that on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas County may approve the rezoning request of the Wilder Corp. that would allow the construction of a Wal-Mart Supercenter on U.S. 19 near Klosterman Road.
